Suicide is one of the most preventable causes of death.  Anyone can step in and prevent a tragedy, if they know how to spot someone in crisis and how to approach them.  TSPN offers several free suicide prevention training programs to professionals and the general public, available to schools, civic groups, churches, and businesses.  TLC is funded by a federal grant to provide training to those who work with high-risk youth.  We also have links to the Jason Foundation, a nationally regarded youth suicide prevention organization, and area providers of Teenscreen, an evidence based screening program.
