Due to the rising number of COVID cases, we will be mandating masks and checking temperatures at both days of our event.
Mark your calendars! Our statewide Suicide Prevention Awareness event will be held at Embassy Suites Hotel Murfreesboro (1200 Conference Center Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129) on September 8 and 9, 2021. The two-day event will focus on the resilience we have seen from 2020 to 2021 and will celebrate the efforts of TSPN volunteers across the state and their commitment to suicide prevention in Tennessee.
Event times:
September 8: 6 – 8 p.m.
September 9: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
On September 8, TSPN is excited to present John Midgley
, the “Mental Health Magician.” Guests will also enjoy a 20s-themed party, featuring a DJ, photo booth, “Best Dressed” costume contest, and more! On September 9, we will celebrate our regional award winners, dedicate this year’s Love Never Dies memorial quilt, and focus on the efforts of staff and volunteers statewide. The “Mental Health Comedian” Frank King
will serve as the keynote speaker, and after the event, our Advisory Council will hold their September meeting.
