Cups of Hope Project

TSPN’s Northeast Region is hosting the region’s first Cups of Hope Campaign! It’s easy to get involved—you can buy a coffee in September, donate to TSPN, or get involved as a TSPN volunteer. 

TSPN Northeast is partnering with seven local coffee shops and two community partners representing five counties within our region to provide their customers with free suicide prevention resources as well as coffee sleeves with a hand-drawn message of hope from a local youth volunteer. Each coffee sleeve will also include a QR code linking them to available local mental health resources in Northeast Tennessee. The coffee sleeves will be distributed across our region on September 10th, which is World Suicide Prevention Day, and resources will be available throughout the month of September.

Over 1,000 people died by suicide in Tennessee in 2023, and at least 130 of those suicide deaths were in our region. Let’s work together to raise awareness, decrease stigma, share resources, and spread hope!
