QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Community Suicide Prevention Trainings
Each year in Tennessee, over 1,200 people die by suicide--more than the number killed by homicide and drunk driving combined.
Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich maneuver save lives, you can use the QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) protocol to save the life of someone considering suicide by identifying risk factors and warning signs, listening, and pairing them with options for support.
TSPN is hosting a series of community QPR training sessions across the state during March and April. Register for a session near you today!
